It is a platform established by the Taiwan Index Plus Corp. to address communication challenges between listed companies and institutional investors. It offers four main services—IR Zone, Engagement Services, Investor Conferences, and ESG Information—to 'perfect the responsible investment process and make two-way communication more focused,' enhancing efficiency and transparency.

With the FSC's 'Corporate Governance 3.0' and ESG evaluation requirements, investor engagement has become a key compliance issue. For instance, the TIP ESG evaluation indicator (S-6) requires disclosure of engagement activities. Poor communication can lower ratings, affecting institutional investment, stock price stability, and even triggering governance risks like shareholder activism.

Such engagement and disclosure are directly related to: 1. **ISO 37000:2021 (Governance of organizations):** Emphasizes stakeholder engagement and accountability. 2. **GRI Universal Standards 2021 (GRI 2: General Disclosures):** Requires disclosure of the organization's approach to stakeholder engagement (Clause 2-29). 3. **IFRS S1 (General Requirements for Disclosure of Sustainability-related Financial Information):** Requires companies to disclose governance processes for communicating with investors.
