Trustworthiness is a multi-dimensional concept encompassing security, reliability, privacy, and transparency. According to ISO 21434, it requires assurance that a system will perform as intended under specific conditions. In CCAM, this means the vehicle's decision-making must be verifiable and predictable. Unlike traditional reliability, Trustworthiness is context-dependent—it asks: 'Can we trust this system in this specific scenario?' Implementation follows three stages: Context-Setting (defining the ODD and trust boundaries), Metric-Building (quantifying trust through indicators like decision consistency and attack surface exposure), and Trust-Repair (establishing protocols for system degradation and recovery).
